Ms. Lawonda R. Cooper, 43, of Athens died Thursday, February 18, 2021.

A graveside service and interment will be Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Thankful Grove Baptist Church, Carlton.

Survivors include her daughter, Jamiah Wright; father, James (Mozelle) Cooper, Jr.; siblings, Stephanie (Jesse) Rucker, Latisha (George) Stone, April (Ben) Alexander, Rico (Trina) Stevens, Tammy Wise and Jeffrey (Bonnie) Howard; grandparents, Mary Ella Fleming and James Jackson; special friend, Javoris Wright; and other relatives.
